By Robert James is an 15 year old brand and work of Robert James.  Robert is New York Designer that focuses on timeless, handsome garments with a tough independent twist.  By Robert James has illustrious history in NYC's. downtown fashion. and musics scenes.  From his iconic brick and mortar retail locations BRJ entertained & served locals, artists, musicians, and world travelers gaining an avid following of lovers or quality and style.  

As the LES evolved and Online grew BRJ has made the pivot to a more streamline e-commerce brand.    

With our focus shifting to online we are evolving our process and offerings to match the market place.  We will take a. "Less is More" approach by introducing our products on a linear monthly basis rather than in seasonal collections.  Streamlining our offerings to what we do best while allowing us to tell the story of each garment and people that wear them.  We will also make each NY Made garment in a even more limited way which only increases the. exclusivity of our brand but. also keeps us fresh and in season. 

We have taken these steps to continue to produce in  New York Garment Center.  Ensuring that every product  continues to supporting local businesses and New York Made Fashion.
